3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK & BUDONGO PRIMATE SAFARI UGANDA

Introduction:

Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s best-known and largest nature reserve, and its impressive animal populations and superb activities are further augmented by its location, which straddles the Victoria Nile as it makes its way through multiple rapids and waterfalls (including the enormously impressive Murchison Falls) to Lake Albert. This is an exceptional place to see wildlife and a trip along the Nile should not be missed, not least in order to see the powerful Murchison Falls up close, a simply unforgettable experience

Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park with a hike to top of the falls and evening game drive We leave Kampala at 8 am in the morning for a drive to Murchison falls National Park via the Luwero triangle and Nakasongola district up on arrival at the park, drive top of the falls where you will be able to have a beautiful scenery viewing of the Murchison falls  with a rainbow formation on it bursting through an 8 meters wide gorge with thunderous sounding referred to as devils squadron as you take memorable photos for a life time after go lunch break and relaxation at the lodge later go for an evening game drive that will expose us to a variety of wildlife species more especially the big five family members after retire for the day break with  dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Half day game drive and afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls

Have breakfast in the morning and we proceed to the park for an early morning game drive so as to catch up with early risers such as the big five members like leopards, lions, and others after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later go for noon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls which take around 2-3hours as we have a clear view to both wildlife species that lives on land and water we take photos for remembrance of the safari. After drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning chimp trekking at Budongo and Ziwa Rhino visit with a transfer back to Kampala

After an early breakfast check out of the lodge for a drive to Kanio pabidi forest at Budongo for a morning chimp trekking experience, Budongo forest is one of the places where you can enjoy a wonder full chimpanzee experience since it has one of the highest concentration of chimpanzees in Uganda after proceed with a drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a  stop  to enjoy rhino tracking experience and relaxation for lunch after continue with the journey back to Kampala marking the end of 3 days Murchison falls and Budongo forest chimp trekking experience, that will be the end of the Safari.
