Uganda has a unique wildlife experience more especially the big 5 species such as elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards with a variety of other species. Here is an excellent culture that is exhibited from all the 86 tribes in Uganda today since each tribe has different cultural diversities ranging from foods, traditional dance and music.

 

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1; Arrival at Entebbe international airport & transfer to a hotel in Kampala.

Upon arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our company representative at Entebbe Airport and transfer to your lodge in Kampala for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 2; Full day Kampala City Tour

After a hearty breakfast, you will be picked from the hotel of residence by our professional guide and takes you for a Kampala city tour experience; here Kampala is sub divided in to different that is to say Buganda Kingdom cultural trail, Uganda Martyrs Pilgrimage trail, faith based/religious trail and Historical trail. Depending on your choice, you can be able to explore some of the unique and exciting experience that Kampala has to offer.

 

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison falls National Park with a brief stop for Rhino adventure and Drive top of the falls

Depart from Kampala at 6:00 Am in the morning, to Murchison falls National Park, with a brief stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking adventure experience and lunch break. After proceed with the drive to the park and go drive top of the falls which will give us a view of the great Murchison falls passing through an 8 metres gorge with a rainbow formation on top, as you hear the thunderous sounding from the bursting waters of the Nile. Take photos for a life time memorable experience after go check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 4: Half day game drive and afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls

Wakeup early morning for breakfast and we proceed to the park for an early morning game drive so as to catch up with early risers such as the big five members like leopards, lions, and others after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.

Later go for PM Launch cruise to the bottom of the falls which take around 2-3hours as we have a clear view to both wildlife species that lives on land and water we take photos for remembrance of the safari. After drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 5:   Early Morning game drive and transfer to Kibale National Park.

After an early morning breakfast, check out of the hotel for a morning game drive. After transfer to Kibale National Park through lake Albert escarpment area, with a great view of the western rift valley, as we drive to Hoima, have a brief stop for lunch and leg stretching after proceed with the drive to Kibale National Park through kagadi towns and Mabale with great views the local architectural designs, tea plantations later go check in at the lodge with dinner and overnight.

 

Day 6: Chimp trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Early morning breakfast; continue to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing after you will be separated in to groups for trekking depending on the chimp groups you are going to trek. While trekking the chimp you are not required to mimic or do jocular actions. Viewing the young chimpanzees and their mothers playing in the trees will give you one of the most remarkable experience for a life time after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation later check out of the lodge for a drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Fort portal crater field areas which will enable us see the beautiful land scape as we continue with the drive to the park with an evening game drive after go check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

 

 

 

Day 7: Half day Game drive and launch cruise at a long Kazinga channel

Wake up early morning with packed break and later head out of the lodge for a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, depending on the day you may spot various animals more especially the big five family members such lions, leopards waiting for an early morning prey to catch. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

Pm Boat cruise at a long Kazinga which is an adjacent that connect Lake George and Edward. Here you will be able to take remarkable photos and have a view at different wildlife species grazing along the banks and others drinking water more especially the Buffaloes and hippos for around 1-2hours on the boat after drive to the Ishasha sector famous for tree climbing lions with dinner and overnight.  

 

Day 8: Half day game drive at Ishasha Sector and transfer to Bwindi National Park

After morning breakfast, check out of the lodge for a game drive in the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Sector) as we search for the famous tree climbing lions, while also viewing other wildlife species, after go for lunch and relaxation later proceed with a drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park and later check in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9:  Gorilla trekking experience. 

After an early breakfast, at 08am we drive to the UWA headquarters for a briefing prior plus meeting the guides as well as separation into the groups basing on which gorilla group you will to be tracking. Gorilla tracking entails climbing and hiking watching them only a few meters away from the baby with the mothers, the gorillas partaking their everyday routine just right in front of you is all very overwhelming and the most exciting lifetime experience, there after we retire for the day break with dinner and overnight at the lodge

 

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale where you will arrive well in time for Lunch. Enjoy lunch in Kabale and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi where you will embark on a boat cruise visiting the different islands while enjoying the magnificent scenery and a lot of birdlife. You will encounter the local people and get to know about their lives as they display their craftsmanship and weaving skills for ladies. Dinner and overnight.

 

Day 11; Transfer to Nshenyi Village

You will have early morning breakfast and transfer to Nshenyi village with a Lunch stopover in Mbarara town. Proceed to Nshenyi village for a cultural experience like no other! The village is nestled in the rolling hills of the Ankole Kingdom. Arrive in the evening, dinner and overnight at Nshenyi village.

 

Day 12; Full Day visit at Nshenyi Village.

You will spend the full day in Nshenyi village and participate in all activities as you please! You will enjoy your stay at the charming and spacious farm, decorated according to the local customs. Participate in milking cows with your bare hands, accompany children to school, find out how matooke is prepared or follow the Kagera Trail to the natural border with Tanzania.

Let traditional dances and songs enchant you under the moonlit sky, while a campfire warms the cool evening. Relax in the raw comforts of nature and explore the rural charm of untouched Africa. Nshenyi village is such a rare experience that you will be delighted with.

 

Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo NP and do afternoon boat at a long Lake Mburo

You will have an early morning breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo National park where you will arrive well in time for lunch. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and later go for an afternoon boat ride where you will encounter a number of birds and enjoy the experience on your 15 days Uganda safari! Return for dinner and overnight at Rwakobo rock or Mihingo Lodge.

 

Day 14: Half day Game drive and Transfer back to Entebbe airport for the flight back home.

Enjoy early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo also graze these areas after return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation later proceed to the airport for the flight back home while carrying the last memories about Uganda.
