Murchison falls National park is named after the Falls that transect through the park and explodes through a narrow gorge and falls 43m with a loud roar. The park is located on the Kampala-Gulu highway and is easily accessible by road.
The activities in the park are mainly game drives, boat cruises to the bottom of the falls, hikes to the top of the falls and Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo forest.
The Launch trips are the highlights of any visit to the park where you see different wildlife along the shores and majestic views of the falls. Murchison Falls is home to over 450 bird species and over 76 mammals.

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi forest national park
Our driver-guide will meet you at the hotel or your place of residence for a briefing. Immediately you will begin your journey toward the West. Bwindi is located in Southwestern Uganda. Stop over at the equator for a water experiment and in Mbarara for Lunch. Later proceed till you reach Bwindi late in the evening. Driving time is 9-10 hours. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Valley Lodge (BLD).
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking- Batwa experience
Early in the morning after breakfast, meet at the headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing. The briefing begins at 7 am and the real activity at 8 am. With armed rangers join in the search for the habituated mountain gorillas. The length of the search will depend on the movement of the Gorillas. Upon finding them you are allowed one hour of taking pictures and interacting with them. Later return to your Lodge and if time allows you will relax and have an evening of a community visit. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Valley Lodge (BLD).
Day 3 Departure
Early in the morning after breakfast check out of your lodge and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight back home.
