Queen Elizabeth national park is the most famous and best Park to visit for an African safari holiday in Uganda. The 4 Days Queen Elizabeth safari takes you to Ishasha- home to the tree climbing lions. Take a morning and evening game drive in the Mweya peninsula and Kasenyi area to see antelopes, warthogs, elephants, lions, and buffaloes. Boat ride on Kazinga channel to see hippos as well as elephants and buffaloes along the shores.

Finally, track habituated chimpanzees in Kyambura gorge.

Detailed itinerary of the 4 Days Queen Elizabeth

Day 1 Arrival and hotel transfer

 

Day 2 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Park National Park

After breakfast, our safari guide from The Big5 Adventures Uganda Safaris will brief you about the 4 days Queen Elizabeth Uganda safaris. Depart and then make a stopover at the Uganda Equator line at Kayabwe; for a water experiment to differentiate between the southern and northern hemisphere. Stop in Mbarara town for lunch before continuing to Queen. Later proceed for an evening game drive then check in your lodge for dinner and overnight at Bush lodge (B.L.D)

Day 3 Morning Game drive and Boat cruise

After breakfast, you will head for a game drive along the Kasenyi tracks. Expect to also see lions, warthogs, elephants, buffaloes and rarely the leopard. You will then drive back to your lodge for a hot lunch. After lunch, you will head out for a two hours boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, a natural water channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Here you will also see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, birds and have an excellent opportunity for photography at a closer range. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Bush lodge (B.L.D)

Day 4 Chimpanzee tracking and return to Kampala

Chimpanzee tracking and return to Kampala
Have breakfast and then go to track chimpanzee in Kyambura gorge. The park ranger will brief you about chimp tracking. You will see birds and monkeys along the track. After return to the lodge, check out and then drive back to Kampala. Do shopping at the craft markets afterwards transfer to the airport in time to catch your flight back home.
